Vanessa Correa
LIMELITE OWNER AND TEACHER
Vanessa has been dancing from the age of 3 years studying all aspects of the performing arts. Vanessa is a natural born talent whose extensive training and hard work has shown to be a success in the entertainment industry.
Starting at an early age with the K and V Dancecorp and later graduating from Brent Street Studio in 2005 with a certificate IV in performing arts, Vanessa’s passion to entertain continues to grow as she works professionally in the industry.
Vanessa also has a passion for Teaching and Choreography. She has a natural creative flare, an eye for detail and the ability to come up with fresh ideas. Specializing in teaching the dance syllabus as part of the school curriculum in several primary schools, Vanessa choreographs school productions and is known for the quality of the work she produces and the results she achieves, not only in her students’ growth as a performer but at numerous competitions around the Northern Beaches.
Vanessa has danced and learned from leading choreographers including Kelly Abbey, Marko Panzic, Jason Winters, Matt Lee, Jackie Howard, Cameron Mitchell and Daren Disney.
Vanessa became the director of Limelite Performing Arts Academy in 2013 where she continues to uphold the philosophy and values with the motto ‘striving to keep dance fun’.
LAURA TREMOLADA
LIMELITE TEACHER
Laura Tremolada is a dedicated dance teacher, choreographer, and performer with professional training from Dance Force (full-time) and Brent Street. Her strong technical foundation spans contemporary, lyrical, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, acrobatics, aerial silks, and heels, supported by extensive on-stage and commercial performance experience across live entertainment, brand work, and media.
Laura’s true passion lies in teaching and mentoring dancers. She is known for her patient, kind, and encouraging approach, creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to grow, take risks, and build confidence. With experience teaching preschoolers through to senior performance and competition groups, Laura places strong emphasis on artistry, correct technique and individual development. She is deeply committed to nurturing each dancer’s love for movement while helping them reach their full potential, both on and off the stage.
TIA OLSSON-VEAL
LIMELITE TEACHER
Tia Olsson-Veal has been working at Limelite performing arts academy for three years now. She is a choreographer and performer studying dance education at ACPE. Her strengths include dancing herself and also in choreography over many years of training. Her main styles are lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, jazz and focusing on the technique of the dancers. She also has skills in editing music and creates a story in her contemporary pieces. Tia grew up dancing at Limelite from the age of 5 until she was in year 8 and then continued her dance training of Oxford falls grammar and becoming dance captain in year 12. She is now dancing for her university dance team at the Australian collage of physical education.
Tia loves working with children and has been teaching kids since she was 17 and loves being around them. Tia is know for her encouraging approach as she has the rule of “never say you can’t”. She kind and bubbly with all of her students giving them the space to grow not only as a dancer but as a person. With all of her years of experience Tia really works on putting the students best foot forward whether it is on stage or in the classroom. She has worked with making big numbers with lots of kids all the way to doing solos for students. Tia’s passion has been dance her whole life and teaching students to share that same love for it.
